Prayer to the Author of Life
Father of us all, Author of all life; I thank you for my life and the
appreciation of it. Please help me to always respect the lives of all your
children, from conception to natural death. Let your Spirit enlighten the
minds and open the hearts of those who do not fully respect all human life
according to your will. Where there is contrition, grant peace to all women
and everyone affected by past abortions. Lighten the burdens of all women
with problem pregnancies. Bring adoption of a Human Life Amendment soon.
Thank you, Father. Amen

womb...you knew me right well; my frame was not hidden from you, when I was
being made in secret..."
Prayer to Commitment to End Abortion
Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
and for the lives of all my brothers and sisters. I know that abortion is
the great destroyer of life, yet I rejoice that you have conquered death by
the resurrection of your Son. I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Help me today to commit myself never to be silent, never to be passive, and
never to be forgetful of the unborn. Help me to commit myself to be active
in the prolife movement and never to stop defending life until all my
brothers and sisters are protected and our nation once again becomes a
nation with liberty and justice for all. Through Christ our Lord. Amen!
God speaks to
Jeremiah showing that the child in the womb is a person:
Jeremiah1:4-5 “Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Before I
formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated
you."
Redeemer in the Womb
Lord Jesus Christ, you took our human nature upon
yourself. You shared our life and death, our childhood and adulthood. You
also shared our time in the womb. While still God, while worshiped and
adored by the angels, while Almighty and filling every part of the universe,
you dwelt for nine months in the womb of Mary. You were our Redeemer in the
womb, our God who was a preborn child. Lord Jesus, we ask you to bless and
protect the children who today are in their mothers' womb. Save them from
the danger of abortion. Give their mothers the grace to give of themselves,
in body and soul, for their children. Help all people to recognize in the
preborn child a brother, a sister, saved by you, our Redeemer in the womb.
Amen.
Luke1:41-44 "And when Elizabeth heard the
greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with
the Holy Spirit and she exclaimed with a loud cry, "Blessed are you among
women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And why is this granted me,
that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For behold, when the voice of
your greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb leaped for joy."
Prayer for Post-Abortion Moms and Dads
Father God, My heart is torn apart. I do not understand
why this happened to me. I have no strength left in me. I have no
consolation in my heart and I cry to you for help Father. The Bible says
that the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as
have a contrite spirit. Comfort me Lord, because all my dreams are
shattered. My hope is lost and I find total darkness in front of me.
Lord, help me to bear this agony and the mental stress due to this and
restore to me, your joy and peace of mind. I know that your ways are
wonderful. Lead me by your Spirit into deeper spiritual experiences and make
my life a fruitful one. Lord, I commend every thought and every situation of
mine into your loving hands. Thank you Father for being with me during these
hard times and for your assurances of joy and peace. Amen.
God’s Forgiveness

confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and
purify us from all unrighteousness.”
Prayer for an Awakening and Healing in our City
Father,
in your word, through the Apostle Paul, you call for us to “Wake up… to
find out what pleases the Lord… to have nothing to do with evil deeds of
darkness, but rather to expose them… that God’s wrath comes on the
disobedient.” (Various from Eph. 5: 6-14) We pray first for those in
positions of authority in our city, our Mayor, our city council members and
city officials. Father, we pray that the eyes of their hearts would be open
to see clearly your will for this city….. and their ears be opened to hear
your voice regarding the great injustice of child killing that takes place
in Roseville at Planned Parenthood and in other places. We pray that you
would speak to these officials clearly, having them to know that the
innocent bloodshed defiles our people and our land. We pray Father that
they would act decisively to make Roseville a city that would end the
licensing of legal child killing centers and restore protection of life for
ALL of the people of this city.
Father,
we pray that you awaken and open the eyes of all Christians, pastors and
leaders in your church to the grave sin of abortion and bring us to a place
of genuine repentance resulting in our prayers, actions and good works in
defending the sanctity of human life and to offering real help and healing
to those who have participated in an abortion decision.
We
plead Father, the Precious Blood of Jesus over our sins and the sins of our
nation. God, end abortion and bring revival to America. Amen
